Podcast – Elon Musk’ New Projects

Hi, this is Flynn Roberts and this is TechCast. We have talked about some inventors and their contributions, so today we are talking about Elon Musk, owner of Tesla Motors and SpaceX. Elon was born in Pretoria, South Africa in 1971, and after studying Physics and Economics at the Wharton School, he started working in programming. By 1999, his website developer company, Zip2, was bought by Compaq for more than 300 million dollars. Elon Musk has achieved many goals with his companies Tesla Motors and SpaceX. Just like tech revolutionary Nikola Tesla, Musk has made a strong belief in electric energy usage in means of transportation, something that defines Tesla Motors in land transportation and SpaceX in exploring the atmosphere and beyond.
