Joe: Hello, Steve! Where are you going?
Steve: I’m going to the university, my classes start at 9:00 a.m.
Joe: Me too! Let’s walk together. What are you studying?
Steve: I’m in the Business Administration college. This is my third semester, and it is more difficult than the last one.
Joe: I’m sure of it. And, why do you like that major?
Steve: Well, having a company demands people to be enterprising and using very specific skills. I want to be the CEO of my own firm one day, so I must learn a lot.
Joe: That sounds very interesting. You’re right, I work at a computer company and my supervisor taught me that you have to be a team player and motivate others to work harder.
Steve: Yes, processing is one of the most important things about administration, and it is not easy. What do you do at work?
Joe: I am responsible for scheduling the products distribution to the stores. The company sells hardware.
Steve: Your job is very important to the success of the company. Your supervisor has to coordinate people who are hired for different tasks.
Joe: Really? The company is smaller than others, but their goal-oriented philosophy makes them grow quickly.
Steve: Yes, a lot of companies have a few employees at the beginning, but then they have even hundreds.
Joe: And what kind of company do you want to own?
Steve: I don’t know yet, but you can sell services, too. Not only products.
Joe: Great! Well, I think your major is very interesting. Let’s talk more some other day, okay?
Steve: Sure! See you later!
