B4S1 - Listening 2

Charles: Good morning. Excuse me, are you Angie McDowell?

Angie: Yes, I am. How can I help you?

Charles: Well, Mr. Hubert sent me here with you. I’m new at Harvard University, and he told me that you oversee the inducting of freshmen into the campus.

Angie: That’s right! What’s your name?

Charles: My name is Charles Wittier. I’m new at Law School here.

Angie: Nice to meet you, Charles. Follow me.

Charles: This is a huge campus, isn’t it?

Angie: Indeed, it is! But it isn’t the only campus. Harvard has three campuses: this one, which is the Cambridge Campus, the Allston Campus, and the Longwood Campus. In Cambridge you can find the Law School, the School of Education, the Kennedy School of Government, the Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, among others. The Allston Campus has been growing dramatically these years. There you can find the Business School, and the Innovation Labs. The Harvard Stadium, and the Science and Engineering Complex will have opened by next year.

Charles: This is incredible! What about the Longwood Campus?

Angie: Well, that campus is a few miles from here, but there you can find the Medical School and the Chan School of Public Health.

Charles: Wow! I will surely have learned more about Harvard by the end of this trip.

Angie: I’m certain of that. Now, let’s move on to the Charles River. It has an amazing view of both Allston and Cambridge Campuses.

Charles: Sure! I’m following you.
