Kirk: Hello, Scott!
Scott: Hi, Kirk! How are you doing with the Social Studies final project? It’s for this coming Thursday.
Kirk: Not very well, but if I scheduled my activities better, I would finish it sooner.
Scott: Sure, that’s why I took my time on this research. These final weeks are very exhausting.
Kirk: Totally! I’ve been staying up late trying to bring up a topic, but when I find something interesting, I just can’t carry on with it. Some of the topics are really long.
Scott: Maybe I can help you with that. But, if you had an idea right now, it would be easier for us.
Kirk: Sure, I have some ideas. I have even done some brainstorming about immigration, democracy, civic responsibility, and minority groups in my notebook. Here you are.
Scott: Well, I’ve been reading about civic responsibility for some time. Maybe you should pick this topic, do some research, and then put it in your paper.
Kirk: That’s a good idea! I’m keeping it.
Scott: Good! I have some references about this, check them out if you like.
Kirk: Thank you so much! If I hadn’t asked for your help, I would be lost in all this.
Scott: Well, that's what friends are for.
Kirk: Let me begin by checking your information.
Scott: Ok. I’ll be around if you need something else.
